New Delhi

New Delhi is a district in the Union Territory of Delhi in India. The district is bounded in the north by Central Delhi District, in the east by East Delhi District and South District, in the south by West Delhi District, and South Delhi District, and in the west by South West District, and Central Delhi District.

There are three tahsils in the district - Parliament Street Tahsil, Connaught Place Tahsil, and Chanakyapuri Tahsil.

Total area of the district is 35 sq km. The population as per census 2011 is 142,004.

The district headquarters is also the headquarters of the Parliament Street tahsil.
